The top part of a fukinagashi decoration featuring the Japanese American National Museum logo made by staff & volunteers for the 1st Annual Los Angeles Tanabata Festival in Little Tokyo.

Purple and white tissue paper was folded into "flowers" and glued onto plastic colander baskets. The paper for the logo portion were about a quarter size of the regular paper flowers to try to get the design right.
