Living conditions were good - similar to stateside. Slept in barracks. Meals were so-so. For entertainment, free movies and free beer.

1). Berlin Air Lift. 2). Driving all the top brass around. 3). Flipping a staff car over on an icy road going to pick up a Colonel in Munich.

Japanese food.

Being able to travel, especially to foreign countries, at the expense of the military.
