1. Slept anywhere we could. 2. Bathed only when we found water. 3. Ate K rations and hot meals. 4. For entertainment, went sight seeing and listened to music.

Two of us coming in contact with 3 German officers who wanted to surrender their unit of 1,000 men up in the hills to the 2 of us.

1. Fought discrimination and proved loyalty to USA, especially after Japan attacked Pearl Harbor. 2. That I and many others fought for our family's freedom and future.

1. Experienced discrimination only once after the war. 2. Used GI Bill to complete college degree in accounting. 3. Treasurer in Development and Construction Company handling commercial and industrial properties.
