Good morning everyone!

Last night the last 96 cloth letters that arrived from young people of Fukushima yesterday, were sewn in. 

What a marathon the last 2 weeks have been.
And the sun is shining this morning.

Today all the cloth square quilts will be couriered (HEAVY!! as there are 7 Tohoku quilts in total) to Tokyo for the Canadian EMbassy exhibition.
The exhibition opens next week on Oct 13.
I will go and help the EMbassy put up the show beginning Oct 11 at 8:30 AM!!! 
This is exciting.

The cloth letter messages created by the young people of Tohoku are moving, inspiring and well expresses the spirit of those young people.
They have very much appreciated having this opportunity to express themselves and be acknowledged!

What a special gift all of you have helped to give them!!!

And now, on Oct 13 in Tokyo, their expressions and those of the young Canadians will come together for the first time.
I am so happy and cannot believe that this dream is almost completed.

There has been several requests for the paintings to continue with each exhibit in Japan.
And we haven't even opened the exhibition.
