Black and white silent amateur films by Dave Tatsuno (1913-2006), a businessman in the San Francisco Bay area. Tatsuno's earliest films, taken from August-November 1936 while he was an undergraduate at the University of California, Berkeley, show family, church, and school activities.
This segment, from September 1936, shows a family visiting the Fleischhacker Pool in San Francisco; a man dives from the high platform; the family walks across a lawn (00:49).
