Color silent amateur footage of life in the World War II Japanese American detention facility in Tule Lake, California, made 1942-1945 by teacher Charles Palmerlee.
This segment shows Miss Ayami Kyotani, in two traditional Japanese costumes, dancing on a stage covered with tatami mats, before a canvas stage backdrop painted with cherry trees in a hilly landscape with Mt. Fuji and Japanese text (02:09).
