Color silent amateur footage of life in the World War II Japanese American detention facility in Tule Lake, California, made 1942-1945 by teacher Charles Palmerlee.

This segment begins with a title card, "Relocation", and a graphic of the United States, indicating the destinations of those being relocated from Tule Lake, including Utah, Colorado, Minnesota, Illinois, and New York; large crowds assembled among camp buildings; Rev. Shigeo Tanabe shakes hands, kisses people goodbye; internees on a bus saying goodbye, shaking hands through the windows; the bus departs as people wave; crowds surround a second bus piled with luggage; the bus departs as those left behind wave goodbye (01:22).
