This is a picture of a Japanese costume wig from the site http://www.greatwigs.co.uk. The description of the product is "JAPANESE LADY WIG with Nylon Ribbons". This is yet another example of "bad Japanophilism" because first of all, the lady in the picture is having her hands placed together, which I believe, is trying to make a connection with Buddhism. Second, there are pink ribbons on the wig. Together, these two characteristics of the product created a false represetantion and imagery for the traditional Japanese female.
