19420817 - Typed letter of appeal from (Bachan) Owai Okamura to DOJ

 This is the typed letter which I surmise that my father, Sam Masami Ono wrote for my grandmother. At that time my father was a volunteer Policeman for the Merced Assembly Center. In her letter to the Department of Justice, my grandmother mentions that the family is about to be moved to Granada, Colorado and that it is well enough away from the militarily sensitive west coast for her husband to join them there. This letter states that Suyeichi Okamura is in Camp Livingston, Lousiana.
