Ryo Kubohira
Born in Hyogo Prefecture in 1991. After graduating from Kyoto University of Foreign Studies, he completed graduate studies at Osaka University. He studied abroad at the University of Brasilia (2013) and the University of São Paulo (2016). After working as a research student in the Osaka University Graduate School, he is now a senior researcher at the Brazilian Cultural Research Center. His specialty is Brazilian regional studies, including research on immigration based on racism in modern history.
