Dr. Eiko Ikegami, professor and dean of the Faculty of Sociology at the New School for Social Research in New York, will give a lecture on Bushido, the culture formed and developed by the samurai, from a sociological point of view. In the talk, Dr. Ikegami will explain the characteristics of Bushido and its relationship to the formation of Japanese society.
