This black-and-white segment, from the late 1930s, shows a Yamada family wedding at the Nichiren Buddhist Temple in Los Angeles (01:13); the bride and groom at the altar, seen from behind; the bride and groom, from the side; children present the bowls for the san-san-kudo ceremony; the couple turns to face guests and descends the altar steps.
