This photo was taken on Sat, August 4, 2007 at the Gardena Buddhist Church's Obon. It was during the ondo dancing that I saw a young woman with a backpack dancing. That wasn't unusual because there were quite a few people wearing backpacks to hold their various ondo accesories - uchiwa, folding fans, towels, kachi kachi, etc.

However, when she turned around, I noticed there was a dog hanging out of her backpack. It was the funniest thing. It just sort of hung out of the backpack...very calm and relaxed as its owner moved around amid the large crowd and loud music.
