Giant Robot got started, basically as a ‘zine of my bedroom in 1994. And, basically I wanted to make a publication that hit upon Asian American topics and there’s no money for us to do it, so we just basically had to photocopy it, staple and fold it ourselves, and even that we just made this rickety looking publication, but it was really thick and we were really happy with it so I think the whole point of it was to just keep going with it and improve as we went along.
