Old photos of my mother

On one of my first nights at his house, my uncle brought out these old photo albums and I was able to see pictures of my mom as a kid for the first time ever. She's the girl in both of these photos. The boy in the photo on the left is my uncle. (I don't know who the other one is.) Our family has always been known to have large heads, and apparently my mom was no exception. When she was born, she made the local paper as having a record-breaking head circumpherence in her town of Izumiotsu, Osaka.
