I am a Japanese/American, living in Mexico where my husband and I have a farm of tropical fruit trees. I have family in Kyoto where my mother is from. I have been profoundly shaped by my mother, her values, aesthetics, sensibilities and culture. I feel more Japanese as I refine and age.
