Most vivid memory of military experience
The day we were captured. We felt lost.

Missed my parents and brothers and friends you (sic) left behind and especially his (sic) wife, Virginia.
Most important thing, personally, to come from military experience?
What an experience a young man my age of 22, had to go through and to do the things asked of him. I'll never forget the different things we did and realized the happiness of freedom. War was hell. Though I was captured by the Germans, God also lead the way to safety.
