Most vivid memory of military experience

Served as interpreter for American Army Officers at Camp McCoy, WI. Later, stationed at Hammer Field, CA and served as interpreter for Japanese Prisoners of War near Lamont, CA. These prisoners were required to harvest cotton for two seasons. Accompanied these prisoners by ship to Hawaii for their return to Japan. Then boarded U.S. Military Ship and escorted 80 Italian Prisoners of War via Panama Canal then to Naples, Italy. Assigned to the office of the Joint British and U.S. Army Headquarters in Naples, Italy. Served in the personnel office.

Missed most whilst in the military

Missed the American Family Living.
