Living conditions
Dug in the sand. No bathing, just cat baths. Meals ready to eat (MRE's), play football, read, write, listen to my walkman.
Most vivid memory of military experience
Jumping out of an airplane for the first time. I had to ask myself 'What the hell am I doing this for?'
Most important thing, personally, to come from military experience?
That the Army has afforded me the opportunity to better educate myself by attending college and military schooling. Today's Army is smarter and more technologically advanced than most major corporations. I am proud to be an American soldier and serve in the forces that guard our country and our way of life.
