Presentation by Margaret Miyauchi-Leong of the Kagoshima Heritage Club at the “Kenjinkai: Past, Present, and Future” program on March 28, 2009 at the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles, CA. Miyauchi-Leong is a Shin Nisei born and raised in the Greater Los Angeles Area. She has been active in the Kagoshima Kenjinkai throughout her life. She is proud o have the opportunity to be involved in the many Asian American organizations that Los Angeles has to offer. In this clip, she describes memories of growing up in the Kagoshima Kenjinkai and the efforts they have been making to keeping the club alive.
