These drawings and haiku poems were created by a family who all were very talented. They were not Nikkei, but were very interested in Japanese culture, particularly anime and manga.

This is a photo of a collection of drawings contributed to Discover Nikkei's Community Collage, a special activity at the Target Free Family Saturday "Say Cheese!" event at the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles on March 14, 2009.

Participants were invited to help create the collage by sharing a picture, text, or item and then posting them up themselves. Our own real-time board/wall to share something with our community.
