Doctoral candidate at Hitotsubashi University Graduate School, and researcher at the Religious Information Research Center of the Institute for International Religions. Interested in the overseas missionary work of Japanese religions, mainly in Hawaii, and their relationship with local Japanese communities. In the future, he would like to conduct research in other regions as well.
