Paraguay Kambara Ikueikai
It was established in 2007 with funding from the Kambara Fund by the Tsuneishi Group in Japan in order to foster successors and next-generation leaders for the Japanese community in Paraguay, to foster coexistence and mutual prosperity between the Japanese community and Paraguayan society, and ultimately to promote friendly exchanges between Paraguay and Japan. It is run by a steering committee made up of members of the Paraguayan Japanese Association Federation, the Paraguayan Japanese Agricultural Cooperative Association, the Tsuneishi Group, and other members of the broader Japanese community.
To date, the organization has provided grants for projects such as the operation of Japanese language education institutions, study groups for Japanese language teachers, various events for Japanese language school students, student interactions with the Japanese community in Brazil, scholarships for Japanese university students and prep school students, and participation in various training programs for Japanese leaders.
