Date: July 13, 2019 – July 14, 2019


Nishi Hongwanji Los Angeles Obon Festival features Bon Odori (folk dancing), live music and Taikom flowers, carnival games, martial arts demonstrations, cultural exhibits, and drinks/delicious food, tea ceremony, doll exhibit, and bingo. This is one of the largest Obon Festivals in the Los Angeles area

There will be a lof of food booths and games for the kids.

Stage Entertainment: Taiko, folk dance, music

Public is invited to participate.

Saturday (7/13) times: 2:00pm-9:00pm; Bon Odori Start- 7:00pm 

After-hour dance with Live Band

Sunday (7/14) times: 2:00pm-9:00pm; Bon Odori Start- 6:30pm

Parking: Street parking is usually going to be a problem, look to use surrounding parking lots. If you plan to dance, please go early because it will be difficult to find parking.
