The Gardena Valley JCI Japanese Language School, located at 1964 W. 162^nd Street in Gardena, will be conducting an Open House, on Saturday, May 11, 2013.

The purpose of the Open House is to allow Parents and their families the opportunity to observe the classes and ask questions regarding enrollment. The classes are conducted on Saturdays, geared for children ages 5 to 17. Adult classes are also available. During the school year, s tudents also have the opportunity to experience various Japanese cultural activities, such as New Year's Celebration, Mochitsuki (traditional rice cake pounding), Undokai (sports day and picnic event), Girl's and Boy's Days, and demonstrations of various Japanese cultural arts. Summer School will begin on July 6, 2013 and the 2013-2014 School Year will begin on Saturday, September 7, 2013.
