"My World, What is My Merry?" Artwork Exhibition The JICA Yokohama Overseas Migration Museum's special exhibition room will be exhibiting works submitted to the first "My World, What is My Merry?" art contest. This contest was held last fall for children of foreign nationality living in Japan. It was organized by young Japanese-Americans studying in Japan as exchange students of the Nippon Foundation. The aim of the contest was to have foreign children living in Japan express their world through art, and to help them realize the importance and joy of self-expression. A total of 800 works submitted to the contest will be exhibited this time. Please enjoy the works that express the "merry" (fun) of foreign children living in Japan. Dates: May 25th (Tue) - June 27th (Sun), 2010 Location: JICA Yokohama Overseas Migration Museum's special exhibition room For more information, please click here: http://www.jomm.jp/events/index.html
