Join Japan America Society of Chicago members and guests for an exclusive taiko (Japanese drum) workshop with Amy Homma, Head Instructor and Tatsu Aoki, Artistic Director of Tsukasa Taiko. Workshop will include a taiko demonstration and lecture presentation on Japanese history, music and culture. Participants will have an opportunity to learn basic drumming beats and techniques and will be able to perform a short piece at the end of the session.
