Symposium: 100 Years of Japanese Immigration - Diversifying Identity of the Japanese Community - As this year marks the 100th anniversary of Japanese immigration to Brazil, there are many opportunities to trace the history of the Japanese Brazilian community. This symposium will focus on the current issues and identity of the Japanese community, as well as their contributions to Brazilian society, and will invite Japanese Brazilians with a wide range of experiences to share their own stories.
