This festive fall banquet is the annual fundraiser for the Oregon Nikkei Legacy Center and a time for the community to gather to honor community achievements. This year we will honor those individuals who were part of the founding of Ikoinokai, the Japanese Senior Lunch Program, in recognition of their outstanding leadership and dedication to a program in continuous operation for over twenty-five years. Their vision and perseverance created a wonderful service to the community. Proceeds from the banquet are an important part of the revenue for ONLC. Join us for a delightful evening of seeing old friends, honoring those who have helped strengthen the Nikkei community, good food, and entertainment.

The Oregon Nikkei Legacy Center, opened in 1998, is a Japanese American museum and center that preserves and shares the history and culture of Japanese Americans in Oregon. A project of the Oregon Nikkei Endowment, ONLC creates and hosts exhibits, provides speakers for schools and community organizations, offers public programs, records videotaped oral histories, and preserves historic documents and artifacts.
