One of the most successful Asian American supermodels, Jenny Shimizu is a former garage mechanic and is currently working on the reality television program Full Throttle with Jenny Shimizu.

Editor and publisher Eric Nakamura launched Giant Robot magazine with fellow UCLA alumnus Martin Wong in 1994. The magazine has since expanded into boutique shops of the same name in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York as well as a restaurant in L.A. Nakamura has also directed the independent ?lm Sunsets.
