Traditional Japanese dance performed by Trisha Asao at the Discover Nikkei public program, “Kenjinkai: Past, Present, and Future,” held on March 28, 2009 at the Japanese American National Museum. The cultural performances section of the program featured former Nanka Kenjinkai Kyogikai scholarship recipients. Asao has been a student of classical Japanese dancing since she was 7 years old.
