I'm not a historian nor have detailed knowledge about the history of Japanese immigration. Being in California, I found that there was a place called Manzanar, which is the best known of the ten concentration camps. More than 110,000 Americans Nikkei were incarcerated at Manzanar during World War II.
Thanks to this visit to Los Angeles, I'm more curious to read about Japanese immigration to the United States.
