Black and white silent amateur films by Dave Tatsuno (1913-2006), a businessman in the San Francisco Bay area. Tatsuno's films, before 1942 and the forced exclusion of World War II, generally show family outings, sporting events, holidays, celebrations, and the family business.
This very brief segment, from ca. 1940, shows two unidentified young men standing outside the Tatsunos' home at 1625 Buchanan St. in San Francisco; the men wave goodbye and walk away along Buchanan St., toward the Tatsunos' store, Nichibei Bussan, at the corner of Buchanan and Post (00:15).
