He has published numerous articles and books about Japanese emigr ation to Mexico and elsewhere in Latin America\, including <em>Los que vin ieron de Nagano. Una migración japonesa a México</em><em> </em>(Those wh o came from Nagano: A Japanese migration to Mexico\, 2015) and <em>La guer ra contra los japoneses en México. Kiso Tsuru y Masao Imuro\, migrantes v igilados</em> (The war against Japanese people in Mexico: Kiso Tsuro and M asao Imuro\, migrants under surveillance). He is an in-demand professor wh o has taught at universities in Italy\, Chile\, Peru\, and Argentina as we ll as Japan. He is currently a professor and researcher with the Historica l Studies Unit of Mexico’s National Institute of Anthropology and Histor y.\n\n<a href="http://www.discovernikkei.org/es/journal/author/matsumoto-a lberto/"><strong>Juan Alberto Matsumoto</strong></a> moved to Japan in 199 0 where he is the founding CEO of Idea Network Consulting\, a Spanish lect urer at Shizuoka Prefectural University and Latin American Economy &amp\; Law at Dokkyo University\, judicial interpreter at Tokyo &amp\; Yokohama C ourt\, columnist for <em>Mercado Latino &amp\; Latin-a Magazine</em>\, and Latin American Nikkei scholarships’ instructor at JICA Yokohama Interna tional Center.
