The 39th Annual Nihonmachi Street Fair!

On Saturday and Sunday, August 4th & 5th, 2012 from 11am - 6pm in San Francisco's Japantown, the Nihonmachi Street Fair will take to the streets again for another exciting weekend. With the spirit of unity, we welcome back old friends and open our hearts to new friendships.

Make sure you mark these dates as we have moved the Nihonmachi Street Fair back to its original first full weekend in August!

Directions to the Nihonmachi Street Fair

The Nihonmachi Street Fair takes place in San Franscisco's Japantown, located in the Western Addition neighborhood of the City. Located on Post Street between Laguna and Fillmore Streets. We encourage everyone to take public transportation to the event. There is street parking, however parking meters are in effect on Saturdays.

BY BUS
From Union Square, take the No. 38 bus on Geary Street, or the No. 2, 3 or 4 on Sutter Street and get off at Laguna, Buchanan, or Webster.

BY CAR
From the Bay Bridge or from Fwy. take the Octavia Street exit. Go straight on Octavia. Stay on right-hand lane. After crossing Market Street, Octavia will turn onto Fell Street. Turn right onto Laguna. Stay on Laguna for about half mile and you'll be in Japantown.
From the Golden Gate Bridge, take the Lombard Street exit, turn right on Webster and continue to Post Street.
