February 19, 2012 will mark the 70th Day of Remembrance (DOR), the anniversary of FDR's signing of Executi ve Order  9066, authorizing the eviction and incarceration of Japanese  Americans after the Japanese attack on Pe arl Harbor. On Feb. 26, to com memorate DOR, Dr. Donald Hata will discuss and sign the eagerly-awaited 4th edition of Japanese Americans and World War II: Mass Removal, Imprisonment, and Redress .  Award winning artist Hatsuko Mary Higuchi will have her poignant and evocative work on display for this event.  Opening remarks will be made by special guest speaker Congesswoman Maxine Waters.  Click here to download a flyer for this event.
