Dramatic changes in the dekasegi industry: The truth behind the large-scale return to Brazil
Dekasegi workers fell victim to the financial crisis of 2008. It is not only in Japan that the environment surrounding them is changing drastically. Many of them who lost their jobs in Japan are returning to Brazil in droves. As a result, the situation in Brazil is also changing rapidly. This column focuses on the current situation.
