DESCRIPTION:The Rinzai Zen Mission is pleased to invite you\, your family\,
  and  friends to our Obon service and dance. Please come and experience th
 e  traditional dance styles of Okinawa\, the only one of its kind on Maui.
  We look forward to seeing all of you as we share our live Okinawan  music
  and performances as well as the delicacies offered by our  community.\n\n
 The Rinzai Zen Mission is located by the beautiful beach outside Paia on  
 the north shore of Maui. It was established in 1932 by a Rinzai priest  fr
 om Okinawa\, Rev. Nanshin Okamoto.  It is the only Rinzai Zen temple from 
 the immigration era in the United  States\, and it was also a temple for t
 he Okinawan community on Maui.  After a few years Rev. Okamoto went on his
  mission to Honolulu and Los  Angeles and established temples there\, too.
