DESCRIPTION:<span style="font-family: Arial\;">Kusaki-zome are fabrics dyed
  with plant juices extracted from flowers\, leaves\, stems and roots\, giv
 ing it a soft\, subtle color contrast. &nbsp\;The dyeing method of kusaki-
 zome was practiced in Japan until around 1925.&nbsp\; It can now be though
 t of as an organic\, eco-friendly alternative to chemical dye. &nbsp\;Sets
 uko Hayashi will lead students through this ancient dyeing technique using
  three different dyes made from onion skins\, pomegranates\, and loquat le
 aves creating artistically dyed scarves.&nbsp\; There is a $25 fee that in
 cludes a silk scarf and other materials.&nbsp\; To register for the worksh
