Come to eat, dance, and have fun at Jodo Mission of Hawaii's 2018 Obon Festival! Get together with family and friends to remember our ancesters, dance to the rhythm of the Taiko drums, and eat delicious foods!

Jodo Mission of Hawaii is a Jodo Shu Buddhist temple located in Honolulu, Hawaii. The founder of Jodo Shu Buddhism is Honen Shonin, who passed away on January, 25 1212. This temple was built in 1932 under Bishop Sensho Fukuda, the Sixth Bishop in Hawaii, and is known as the Betsuin, or Headquarters, for Jodo Shin Buddhist Temples in Hawaii.
