Save the date for Guzeiji Soto Mission of Molokai's 2018 obon festival! Experience this island celebration brought to Hawaii by Japanese immigrants who sought to continue cultural and religious traditions from their homeland. Obon honors ancestors that have passed on with dances and festivals across the islands. This event is open to all, so make sure to bring the keiki!

On the paradise island of Molokai Guzeiji Soto Mission of Molokai stands as its only Buddhist temple. The temple is known for its Kannon Bodhisattva statue, which was originally donated to Guzeiji Soto Mission of Molokai by a Japanese minister who came to visit the island in 1929.

Saturday, 7/28 - 6:30-9:00 p.m.
