Additional information
George Uriyu was at Inglewood High School when WW II was declared. He went to Santa Anita and subsequently to Amache. He entered the service from Amache.
After European service with the 442nd RCT, he was discharged in April 1946 but reenlisted in September 1946.
In his new assignment he was attached to the Military Intelligence Service in the capacity of a cartographer.
After his discharge from the military, he took up a career as Art Director at several Aerospace firms.
