Stoner Recreation Center Japanese Garden
This garden was farther away from campus than the other sites and required a bit more organization. Once there, the students discovered that the site was small but had an interesting history. Established in 1931, the Japanese garden of Stoner Park was created by the Japanese community in Sawtelle, Los Angeles, for the “Promotion of Understanding.”
