Travis Lau
Travis Lau se formou em uma escola secundária em Marietta, GA e agora está cursando inglês na UCLA quando era calouro na faculdade. Embora etnicamente chinês, ele tem atuado no campus com a União Estudantil Nikkei da UCLA nos esforços para revisitar suas experiências culturais no Japão há muitos anos. Como escritor, ele aspira fazer uso desta diversidade cultural para melhor alimentar as suas atividades literárias e ampliar os seus horizontes como indivíduo. Ele busca retribuir à comunidade nipo-americana que o recebeu de braços abertos, compartilhando aqui alguns de seus escritos.

When I was three, I left Hong Kong for my global trek. The parents had their shades on, but I had my rose-colored glasses on instead. I had tunnel vision for the longest time: chewing the cud of overrated childhood days. The scene around me was a blur, like those sped up commercials.
