A study on political systems by Pe w Research Center revealed that &ldquo\;there are reasons for calm as well as concern when it comes to democracy&rsquo\;s future.&rdquo\; The findin gs indicate that the American public is largely divided over democracy: 46 % are satisfied with the way democracy is functioning\, and 51% trust the government to act in the country&rsquo\;s best interests. Does our democra cy remain strong\, or is there cause for concern?
