This fascinating annual festival explores musical connections between Japan and the Western musical tradition. The concert on Sat 24 features flutist Kaoru Watanabe and taiko drummer Kenny Endo in a mix of new works by both players; on Sun 24, cellist Fred Sherry is a featured guest for an afternoon of contemporary-classical works for Eastern and Western instruments.
