North American Godzilla fans will be gathering July 15th through July 17th, 2011 at the newly renovated Crowne Plaza Chicago O'Hare, 5440 North River Road, Rosemont, IL.  Guest of honor for the 2011 convention will be director and special effects director Shinji Higuchi. Also appearing will be actor Hiroyuki Watanabe, master maquette sculptor Hiroshi Sagae, actor Robert Scott Field, and film historian August Ragone. In addition, there will be presentations by Hugo Award winning artist Bob Eggleton and fan movie historians.  There will also be a giant dealers room, video game contests, video contests, art contest, modeling contest, costume contest & parade, special programming for young fans and more.
