In commemorate the atomic-bombing on Hiroshima and Nagasaki 65 years ago, "World Initiative to Save Humanity" (W.I.S.H.) events will be planned on August 6 and 9 in San Diego by Universal Initiative for Agape Alliance (U+I Alliance).
 
On Friday, August 6, from 8:00 - 8:30 am, in front of the Yokohama Friendship Bell Building, the southwest roundabout at 1412 Shelter Island Drive, San Diego, CA 92106, the event will be dedicated to Hiroshima victims.
 
The program will include: Ringing of the Peace Bell by Mike Kawamura, an Hiroshima A-Bomb survivor; one minute of silence for lasting world peace; display of aerial photos of Hiroshima and Nagasaki before and after the Atomic bombing; presentation of A-bomb survivor's newly published book "Shinji"; and presentation of Thousand Paper Cranes from Hiroshima.
 
On Monday, August 9, from 9:00 - 11:30 am, at Kona Kai Resort Hotel, 1551 Shelter Island Drive, San Diego, CA 92106, W.I.S.H. Symposium will be held. A-bomb memorabilia and publication will be displayed. Messages of Hiroshima Mayor, Nagasaki Mayor, Hiroshima Prefectural Governor, San Diego Mayor, Coronado Mayor, will be introduced. A breakfast is included.
 
On Monday, from 11:30 am, the Peace Bell will be rung by San Diego -resident Nagasaki survivors. The program will also include: one minute of silence for lasting world peace; and presentation of Thousand Paper Cranes from Nagasaki.
 
In the evening of Thursday, August 5, the floating of candle-lighted floats (toro) will be planted. The site and time will be announced.
