First Sunday in Old Town
Guided walk of Japanese American Historical Plaza
Meet at the Oregon Nikkei Legacy Center, 121 NW 2nd Avenue, Portland, Oregon

The first Sunday of each month, the Old Town/Chinatown Neighborhood Association in Portland, Oregon, plans a special family friendly event to showcase a different aspect of the neighborhood. On Sunday, April 1, Henry Sakamoto will lead a Cherry Blossom Walk in the Japanese American Historical Plaza. The tour will gather at the Legacy Center, 121 NW 2nd Avenue, and then walk to the Plaza. In case of inclement weather, the event will be a guided tour of the Legacy Center exhibit. This is a great time to introduce friends to the Plaza and the Legacy Center under the guidance of one of the Plaza's "founding fathers". The public is invited. $3 donation, free to members of ONLC.
