Western View from Water Tower

This one of many shots Jack took from the water tower. This is looking westward down the eastern edge of Amache. Small, but you can make out one of the six guard towers that surrounded the camp. Right next to this guard tower is 12G, a barrack that served as the Buddhist Church. I have a photograph of my Uncle Hiroshi Okamura's funeral taken from a roof across from 12G that shows my Okamura/Ono family around his coffin. You can see the guard tower and the water tank tower behind a power pole in that photograph. (See CSI:Amache on Discover Nikkei Journal)
